About the Club

Hamburg was Founded in 1887, which makes it of the oldest Clubs in Germany, HSV. Winning their first league title in the late 1970's but their biggest achievement by far is their Champions League Glory in 1983.

Despite being relegated to the 2nd divison in 2018, HSV still boasts one of the highest attendences in Germany.

Unlike their trendy cross-town Rivals, HSV represents the real working class people of Hamburg. As one of the biggest port city's in Europe, HSV is interwoven with the traditions of a working class city without the addition of politics and fancy marketing gimmicks that certain other clubs tend to use..
